MOOW's stories are written with the help of AI tools and are reviewed and approved by a human editor before publication. We check facts against the sources listed in our research, but MOOW is an editorial publication, not professional advice, and it may contain errors. Tell us if you find one and we will correct it.

Images and credits

Images are used only where MOOW has a defensible right to publish them, for example public-domain and open-access collections of museums and archives, and are credited to their source. If you believe an image is used incorrectly, contact us and we will review it promptly.

Sharing and reuse

You are welcome to link to and quote briefly from MOOW with attribution. Reproducing stories in full, or using MOOW's original text and layout commercially, requires our written permission.

Our publishing system and platform APIs

MOOW uses an internal publishing system to post MOOW's own stories to MOOW's own accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube through those platforms' official APIs. This system is for MOOW's own use only. It is not a service offered to readers or to third parties, and these terms do not grant anyone access to it. Where MOOW uses YouTube API Services, you are also bound by theYouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy atpolicies.google.com/privacyapplies.
