About
About MOOW
MOOW is a journal about architecture, interiors and objects — and why they became the way they are. Every story starts with something familiar: a kitchen, a staircase, a chair, a window. It asks the question most of us never think to ask about it, then follows the answer through history, design decisions and consequence, back to the familiar thing, seen differently.
MOOW is not a design-history encyclopedia, a trend blog or an inspiration feed. It is a small, independent editorial project, closer in spirit to a printed journal than to a content site: fewer stories, argued more carefully, without artificial packaging.
Every published story is researched against primary and institutional sources — museum collections, archives and design scholarship — which are credited at the end of each piece.
